From 1 December 2003, the daily Vaud canton newspapers entitled La Presse Riviera Chablais and La Presse Nord Vaudois will no longer be printed in Montreux but on the more efficient rotary press at the Edipresse-Geneva Printing Centre (CIE-G) in Vernier.
The daily newspapers La Presse Riviera Chablais and La Presse Nord Vaudois will be printed in Geneva.
From 1 December 2003, the daily Vaud canton newspapers entitled La Presse Riviera Chablais and La Presse Nord Vaudois will no longer be printed in Montreux but on the more efficient rotary press at the Edipresse-Geneva Printing Centre (CIE-G) in Vernier. These two publications will benefit in this way from a notable increase in performance (pages, inserts and supplements in four-colour printing, for instance). Readers and advertisers will also gain by the move, especially as it will have no effect on either editorial deadlines or newspaper deliveries.
This decision will affect only the actual printing of the newspapers. Imprimerie Corbaz S.A. in Montreux will of course maintain and develop all of its other printing activities (among others, bookwork, job printing and binding).
