Edipresse takes control of its Romanian joint venture operations

Since 1998, the Edipresse Group (SWX: EDI) and its Greek partner Mr. Antonios Liberis have jointly owned and managed publishing and printing concerns in Romania. Effective today, Edipresse has acquired in full Mr. Liberis' stake in these operations. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Michel Danthe to lead "Matin Dimanche"

The experienced journalist, Michel Danthe, was appointed today to be the head of Matin-dimanche. He will take over from Michel Zendali, who has been appointed to a post in Télévision romande. Aged 48, Michel Danthe has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief.

The Edipresse publishing group is also one of the most important printers in Switzerland. Its commercial printing operations (using sheet-fed printing machines) are principally handled by IRL (Imprimeries Réunies Lausanne) in Renens and the Corbaz printing plant in Montreux.

Renata Libal goes to Femina

Renata Libal is the person who has been chosen by Edipresse to head the restyling of the women's magazine Femina. Currently editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine Edelweiss, Renata Libal will have the mission of modernizing the leading women's magazine in French-speaking Switzerland.
