The publisher is acquiring a stake in the Point Prod production company

An important agreement has been signed between the Corbaz and Edipresse Groups, whereby Edipresse is buying from the Corbaz family a majority stake (68%) in the share capital of their family-owned company.

Edipresse Poland has just acquired two luxury magazines for women, Pani and Uroda. Edipresse will take over operations from the March issues of the magazines onwards.

Axel Springer Editura, the fully-owned Romanian subsidiary of Axel Springer Verlag, is to merge its magazine publishing activities with those of the Romanian Publishing Group (RPG), which is owned by Libedi Sarl, a 50/50 joint venture of the Edipresse Group (Switzerland) and Mr. Antonios Liberis (Greece).

Edipresse Group's Management Team is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Robert Jeanbart as Managing Director of Infotec SA, a financial information company in which Edipresse holds a 70% stake. Mr Jeanbart will take up his new post on 1 December 2002.

PubliGroupe SA (SWX: PUBN) is to exchange its 25% stake in Presse Publications SR SA, the holding company for Edipresse SA's Swiss activities, against 13% of the share capital (6.1% of the votes) of Edipresse SA (SWX: EDI). The shareholder relationships between the two groups thereby become simpler and more transparent.

The Federal Cartel Office (ComCo) has just approved Edipresse's purchase of the majority of the share capital (68%) of the Corbaz Group, without imposing any conditions or other undertakings.

The management of Edipresse Switzerland is pleased to announce the recruitment on January 1, 2003 of a new member, Mr. Gérard Perrier, as head of the 'Organization & Information Systems' department. He will join the executive board of Edipresse Suisse.
