The department now called 'Organization & Information Systems' already exists in the following form in our organization and groups together two sectors related to information and technology:

• the 'Information Technology' department, headed by Mr. Ahcène Benmachiche
• the 'New Media & Services' department', headed by Mr. Christophe Rasch
  

Responsibility for all these operations will be entrusted as of January 1, 2003 to an experienced professional with a proven international background. Mr. Gérard PERRIER, age 51, of French nationality, is experienced in both journalism and information technology. After a career in the 'La Voix du Nord' group (Lille) which took him from the copy desk to the group management (as manager of modernization projects, including implementation of new editorial systems in particular), he joined the US multinational Unisys in 1994. At Unisys he headed various units charged with the production launch and sale of editorial systems; his last position was as Vice-President & General Manager of Unisys Media for Continental Europe, the United Kingdom, India and Africa. He left Unisys to join Edipress since he wanted to work again in a press environment.
