For 2004, Edipresse expects an increase in turnover but lower profitability, mainly as a result of restructuring charges.
The employment website JobUP.ch has established a strategic partnership with Edipresse, publisher of the Tribune de Genève, 24 heures, Le Matin, and other publications.
Edipresse, the second largest publishing house for printed media in Switzerland,
continues to optimize its printing operations by investing in new installations (rotary
presses and distribution centres) for a total amount of CHF 28 million.

The two media companies Edipresse and Tamedia will share a
nearly one-third interest in the Swiss real estate Web site homegate.ch The existing
property Web sites, swissimo.ch and tagesanzeiger.ch/immobilien, will be integrated
into homegate.ch.
Since 1998, the Edipresse Group (SWX: EDI) and its Greek partner Mr. Antonios Liberis have jointly owned and managed publishing and printing concerns in Romania. Effective today, Edipresse has acquired in full Mr. Liberis' stake in these operations. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The experienced journalist, Michel Danthe, was appointed today to be the head of Matin-dimanche. He will take over from Michel Zendali, who has been appointed to a post in Télévision romande. Aged 48, Michel Danthe has been appointed as Editor-in-Chief.
The Edipresse publishing group is also one of the most important printers in Switzerland. Its commercial printing operations (using sheet-fed printing machines) are principally handled by IRL (Imprimeries Réunies Lausanne) in Renens and the Corbaz printing plant in Montreux.
Renata Libal is the person who has been chosen by Edipresse to head the restyling of the women's magazine Femina. Currently editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine Edelweiss, Renata Libal will have the mission of modernizing the leading women's magazine in French-speaking Switzerland.

Femina is the undisputed leader of women's magazines in French-speaking Switzerland with a circulation of 202,700 copies and 518,000 readers. Along with Le Matin Dimanche and Télétop (the television magazine), the magazine provides an essential contribution to the quality and diversity of the Sunday press.
