Born in 1964 and originally from Geneva, Philippe Gendret holds a degree from IHEDREA (Institute of High Level Studies in Law and Ecomonics-Paris) and a degree from the Centre for Professional Development in Business (HEC-INSEAD).

After having occupied various positions with the company Andréfleurs SA, he joined Payot Naville Distribution in 1996 as director of the Naville Services Department. In parallel, he worked on various international mandates for the Lagardère-Division Hachette Distribution Services in the area of technology acquisition, logistical projects, and start-up development.

In 2003, he joined the Management Team of Edipresse Switzerland as Director of Distribution, then Commercial Director, where he is responsible for overseeing digital operations. He is a member of the Management Team of Edipresse Switzerland.
