Edipresse Switzerland has modified the structure of its management team so as to have a better distribution of responsibilities within the company and to reinforce its ability to act.
As of today, the entire management team includes ten people who are the following:
The position as Manager for 24Heures will be filled in the year 2002. In the meantime, Tibère Adler will be in charge.
The entire management comity will meet once a month presided over by Paul Miskiewicz.
Moreover, a small management comity focused on 'media' activity has been created. Tibère Adler is head of this group which includes four other people: Théo Bouchat, Antoine Exchaquet, Pierre Buntschu and Kaspar von Hammerstein.
As for the rest, Edipresse is favouring stability: every chief editor and product manager of the publications will maintain their positions. The recruiting procedure of a chief editor for Le Matin has already started (this position was managed ad interim by Théo Bouchat).
The main aim for the Managers of the publications (editors-delegates) is to obtain positive economic results for their newspapers, guarantee the upholding of the general line established by the editor as well as the policy of development of the publication (strategy, market and competition analysis, contents, quality, evolution of the product, multimedia integration, etc.).
The managing functions of a publication are clearly separate from those of the chief editor: they will be carried out by other persons.
The Commercial Director will be in charge of the commercial activities that are shared by the entire publications of Edipresse Switzerland, especially in the area of publicity. He will therefore be the regular representative of the advertising corporation Publicitas (for newspapers) and he will supervise the internal corporation Edipub (for magazines).
