Swissimo.ch, or a group of 35 real estate online agents
Zannonces.ch becomes your best option for small ads
On-line information
As a newspaper publisher, Edipresse could not neglect the importance internet could have for them. After the new presentation of the matin.ch last spring, 24heures.ch et tdg.ch are now stepping into the online era. The two local newspapers have prepared an attractive graphic project that enables the Internet user to have access to part of the written content as well as a great amount of contents and services that are specific to this new media.
24heures.ch employs three persons whose exclusive assignment is to produce high quality regional articles classified by district in such a way that each person from the canton of Vaud may easily find the information he/she is looking for. Interactivity will of course be part of the site, and one of the key features will be a series of forums and discussions with well-known people. Entertainment will not be left aside. Games will be available, related for example to everyone's favourite artist, Burki or topics of current interest. Last but not least, the site will be the partner of the Tour-Observatoire de Sauvabelin, which is undergoing construction. (Site opened on September 4th, at midday.) Six persons work for tdg.ch, the site of La Tribune de Genève. However, this team will be receiving total support from the entire editorial staff. Thanks to this constant co-operation, the internet user will be able to follow current events as they take place, before the paper version of the newspaper produces a more complete version or more details on the related events. As for 24heures.ch, there will also be a selection of the best articles of the newspaper, forums on the main themes discussed in Geneva, games and regional services. It will also be possible to find sketches drawn by the newspaper´s artist Herrmann that have been rejected by the editorial staff. They will be put to the public so they can decide which are the best. Finally, tdg.ch will definitely have an active participation in major events, such as the next elections planned for November 11th for which our team of journalists will be keeping a close eye on. (Site opened on September 3rd ).
How to find a car, an apartment and plenty mor
Edipresse is also a major producer of small ads. So, it seemed a natural step to offer this important amount of information over Internet. Zannonces.ch started in 1997. At the time, when a client asked to publish an ad in a newspaper, he was given the possibility of publishing it online as well. As of tomorrow, Zannonces.ch will publish the entire amount of ads that are published in La Tribune de Genève, 24 Heures, Le Matin, Terre&Nature and Léman Express. These ads will be available online for two days. After that, customers wishing to leave them for an extra fortnight will be able to do so by paying CHF 5.00. Needless to say, the possibility is also given to publish an ad only online. The powerful search engine of the site enables to have fast access to the object the person is looking for among the 5000 ads available. The Internet user of Zannonces.ch will also be able to install an alert system, the Guetteur, which will automatically scan through the ads and then will send an e-mail to the user informing him or her of the advertisement that presumably corresponds to what he or she is looking for. Other commercial offers will also be available on the site. (Opening date: September 5th, at 6 a.m.)
The world of real estate
Swissimo.ch was created six years ago as a tool for the exchange of information between real estate agencies and has now become a real estate portal that is available for the public in general. Its new version will no doubt be considered the point of reference in the real estate field of the French speaking part of Switzerland.Swissimo.ch, is of course basically a site where consumers can choose an object to buy or to rent among the 35 partner real estate agencies, to which Bernard Nicod, de Braun SA or Retraites Populaires, for example are to be added. Whenever the site goes public, about sixty offers will be able to be seen at a 360° angle. The apartments and the houses can of course be spotted on maps. However, the portal also offers all kinds of useful information to the (future) owner: tax system, financing offers, advice about heating or material, etc. So, thanks to a journalist that is part of the team and partnerships with 24 Heures and Tribune de Genève, this content will be a constant source of precious tips. Finally, BCV, partner of Swissimo.ch, will allow access to this site in several of its branches. This will also be possible in the agencies of Retraites Populaires Vie as of 2002. (Opening of the site: September 5th, at 2 p.m.)
One common partner: edicom.ch
These four new sites have one common partner, that offers them a series of services: edicom.ch, the portal of the group Edipresse, leader in the French speaking part of Switzerland. The new presentation of edicom.ch is underway and it will also offer a highly improved content, a series of new tools and broader interactivity under a new form.
