Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève

17 Mars 2008 - Edipresse Luxe

Rendezvous on the 13th of November at the Grand Théâtre in Geneva.

The international watchmaking elite will be present on the 13th of November at the Grand Théâtre de Genève for the eighth edition of the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix. The evening prize-giving ceremony will once again bring the watchmaking world's professional community of managers, journalists and decision makers to Geneva.

The Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix bestows the most prestigious and sought-after prizes of all those conferred to the brands, watches and creators of the watch industry. The supreme prize, known as the “Aiguille d'Or” (“Golden Hand”), was awarded in 2007 to Richard Mille.

Previous editions of the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix have consistently honoured the most creative watchmaking brands without regard to size or geographic location.

With a dozen different award categories including the Public Prize, voted by the public of Geneva and by internet users worldwide through the Worldtempus.com web site, the Geneva Grand Prix is officially supported by the City and State of Geneva. The prizes are adjudged by an international jury of well-recognized professionals.

With extensive media and television coverage, this year's Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix will more than ever be the international watchmaking event not to be missed.

Rules and jury members will be posted online from 1st April on Worldtempus.com.
